4-Week Intro to Pilates: This class is ideal for individuals who are just starting a fitness routine after being inactive for some time or rehabilitating an injury. The fundamentals of Pilates Mat routine using the Triad Ball will stretch and strengthen the abdominals, legs, back, and shoulders. Emphasis is given to the basic alignment of the body. Focus is more about building awareness of breath and movement at a slow pace to guarantee everyone progresses.

Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa is a breath-oriented practice that focuses on movement. The poses are linked with a sun salutation sequence to build strength, endurance and mental focus. All levels are welcome — but come expecting a challenge.

Moon Yoga
In Hatha Yoga, “ha” is the sun and “tha” is the moon. The sun salute brings appreciation to the new day by energizing us. The moon salute calms and closes the day with its grounding nature. This moon/yin practice is a perfect compliment to your regular vinyasa/yang practice.

Gentle Yoga
A slow-paced, hatha based class to facilitate ease and awareness in the body. Strong focus on the breath and alignment. Gentle Yoga is suitable for all levels from the absolute beginner to the experienced practitioner.

Yoga for all Body Types
Everyone can practice yoga no matter what size, shape, or fitness level. It's not about how far you get into the pose; it's about doing the pose. For every pose there is a modification to allow for different body types, flexibility and strength level, as well as injuries. Join in supporting each other to move and challenge yourself through the practice of asanas (poses), meditation, pranayama (breath work) and chanting.

Pre-Natal Yoga
It’s important as a mother to be that you continue your practice throughout your pregnancy. Modifying poses for pregnancy we will focus on increasing flexibility as well as strengthening the body to prepare for your growing belly, childbirth, and post partum recovery. In this gentle and supportive environment, you will also learn methods to relax the body and mind through meditation, visualization, and pranayama. This is also an opportunity to connect with other moms, compare notes, and ask questions!

Hatha Flow All Levels with Joseph Boquiren
These classes emphasize meditation, breath work, and a pace dictated by the ability level of his students. This is an excellent way to start or end the week. These classes are also great for the older practitioner or someone looking to come back into practice. All levels welcome!

Yang Style T'ai Chi
Tai Chi is a beautiful series of slow-motion movements based on martial arts and practiced for relaxation, self-defense, and health. People of all ages and levels of fitness can benefit from regular tai chi exercise, seeing improvements in balance, flexibility, and strength. This class is will begin instruction in the 103 movement traditional Yang-style hand form and provide a strong foundation in tai chi principles.

Qigong
Qi gong ( "Qi work") works with internal life energy combining movement with breath work, meditation and chanting to improve the health and harmony of mind and body. The forms of Qi gong we practice gently strengthens and nourishes all muscles and joints. People of all physical levels welcome.

Kung Fusion
A combination of strength and flexibility training with a modern form of Kung Fu called Yeung Chuan, developed by Feuk Yeung, one of Bruce Lee's first teachers in Seattle in the late 50's. Ben Shook trains with Steve Smith, the primary inheritor of 47 systems of Yeung Chuan. The training is based on several premises:
* When we come to class, we are better than we have ever been. We are present.
* Though our own minds are tremendously powerful, they are also our primary stumbling block.
* There is power in weakness and weakness is strength.
* If you find a centering situation, and the right point of leverage -- no matter how big you are -- you can lever the world.
The class is fun, informative, transforming introduction to Yeung Chuan. It is open to everyone, all ages, genders and abilities. Children over 8 may accompany an adult.

Total Body Conditioning:
This intense total body workout is designed to improve muscular strength and endurance utilizing free weights and exercise tubes. An excellent compliment to any cardio workout.

Felicia Ferruzza, LAc is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Herbalist. She is passionate about natural medicine and utilizes a combination of acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, shiatsu, and qigong in designing an individualized treatment plan for each of her patients. She is a graduate of The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) and also studied at The National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) where she developed The Classical Chinese Herbal Medicinary. She has also apprenticed with Chinese medicine Doctors, Diet Therapists and Western Herbalists over the past 15 years.
Felicia is trained in Western and Chinese herbs as well as the Medical Qigong programs at NCNM and OCOM. She practices medicine in Portland and Manzanita, Oregon. Easy Movement for Everyone classes offer a special way to get back in touch
with your body using the Feldenkrais Method®. Every lesson is a unique set
of movements designed to build awareness that helps your nervous system
make new connections to become more organized for efficient movement.
You will learn to observe and experiment with different ways of moving to discover
what works best for you. Because they are so gentle and slow, these classes are
excellent if you have pain with movement or if you feel that a beginning yoga class
might be too difficult.
This method of re-educating the nervous system can be beneficial to a wide range
of people, including athletes, children, the elderly, martial artists, those who are
handicapped, people with special needs, and those suffering from degenerative
diseases. It has also proved popular with artists, particularly musicians, a number
